Dovekit leaped over to the fresh kill pile. "Do you wanna share a piece of prey with me, Nightkit? You can choose the prey..."

Nightkit looked over to Dovekit. "Sure," she murmured, "but you can pick." She twirled over to the fresh kill pile.

" Thank you, Sunheart." sighed Toadsong. " Bye kits. Enjoy your meal." If only she knew how to deal with them. She nodded good bye to Sunheart and silently picked up a blackbird and sat down, munching on the bird. It filled her stomach, making her sleepy again. She sighed again, and moseyed to the warrior den for a long rest, undisturbed.

Nightkit led Dovekit over to the the warriors den and settled down at the entrance. She liked pretending that was her den, and since the warriors didn't like we entering the den, sitting outside it was a close second.

Dovekit walked over to Nightkit and dropped the vole before laying down beside her friend. "You first," she said politely.

Nighkit flashed Dovekit a grateful glance before taking a bite of the vole. It was still warm, probably caught very recently. She chewed slowly, savoring its juicy flavor. "Thanks," she mewed, her mouth full of prey. Then she blushed, realizing how rude she was. She gave Dovekit an apologetic look as she continued chewing.

(Ummm, the kits wanted to go hunting but they're now eating from the Freshkill pile because they aren't allowed out of camp.)

Dovekit giggled. Nightkit was so funny!!! She was definitely good for Dovekit, who was normally very serious. She wished this moment would last forever. "You're welcome," Dovekit mewed.
