Blackstar sat outside his den, calmly watching the camp. The pure black leader's eyes, followed Moonkit as she emerged from the nursery and headed across camp.

As Enchantedkit tripped and tumbled her way around, she noticed Blackstar was watching her. She was honored that the leader so much as looked at her. She scampered over to the Black tom. "Hi, Blackstar!" she chirped, staring at him with her wide, innocent eyes.

Enchantedkit looked at her friend. "Hi Lilackit!" she squealed, before leaping at the she-kit.

Lilackit rolled out of the way. "Hey. What're you doing Blakstar?" the golden kit asked. "Sorry, that was rude." She didn't want to be on bad terms with the leader, because... but, nah, that couldn't happen, she thought. I'll never become a shaman.
