Rainbowgleam sighed. He was gone. It was over. For now... "Maplecandy, I'd be honored if you would join us." she meowed, smiling. The lioness made her feel safer. She got weak around Shadow, thinking about what he did. It was unlike her. Normally, she was strong, but when he came, if his eyes even hinted at what he did, she lost all her strength. Which was unfortunate, considering how much she wanted to kill him. A growl rose in her throat but she pushed it back down. She was with her friends now. He was gone. He was gone. He. Was. Gone.

Minnowpine watched the cats pad out of the clearing. She wanted to make sure nothing was there before they left, like Shadow would plan an attack on them after he had tricked them.

(yeah but on here people often call cats by the first part of their name- easier to type) Shadow raced through the bushes silently. He only stopped on the very edge of RiverClan territory, where his for was. He had been silently observing Rainbowgleam for moons now. He had always wondered what she was like when her eyes weren't full of hatred, the way they always were when he was there. He now knew that she was quite happy most of the time. He felt a mix of pain and joy. He wished he could join her. But he knew it would never happen. She would never trust him again. She would never understand what he did for her.
