Minnowpine sniffed the air. A odd scent lingered in the air. Then her thoughts returned to hunting and continued on. ( Doesn't he like Minnowpine? Can you incorporate that? It's just really fun!!)

maplecandy dipped her head to rainbowgleam. "you ok?" the lioness asked. "you seem kind of shaken up."

Rainbowgleam blinked before responding, "um... I'm... fine..." She told herself that over and over in a desperate attempt to make it true. Suddenly, she collapsed to the ground, sobbing.

maplecandy bit her lip. the lioness wasn't exactly the best at comforting others. "hey, there. it's alright," she tried lamely.

"It's alright. He's gone now," Rosepaw comforted her mentor. "But who was that cat?" Rosepaw mewed. "You don't have to tell us if you don't want to," she added quickly.

"It's my brother," she said, standing up. "Sorry, " she mumbled. The she mewed, "I think I'll go back to camp for now." She trotted carefully through the bushes, the moonlight bouncing off her silver fur.

Rainbowgleam kept walking silently until she reached camp. Maybe sleep would make her feel better.

Shadow lurked through the bushes silently. He sniffed the air. No Rainbowgleam. He could just see Minnowpine through the leaves. He waited for the other cats to leave.
