Ravenclaw decided to take this into her own hands. "Kits and recruits, if you don't get over here RIGHT NOW I will personally incinerate you."

Yikes. Trinity was glad that she was already there. She had no interest in being incinerated.

But Trinity probably didn't know some of the things in the course. Viewers, including herself and Platinum, were safe behind a clear wall, but the contestants? Not so much. A few snakes, some water, metal blades... These cats were in for a surprise.

(really? in that case...) Nuclearpaw, and Sparkflight padded up. (i'm gonna say that Uraniumstrike died and then sparkflight (who i just gave memory manipulation 2 seconds ago) removed the memory from everyone's minds)

Ravenclaw yowled,"Participants, line up! You are about to enter an obstacle course. It includes things that might kill you, along with things that will help you. If you require a medic, you may light one of these." The she cat held up a signal flare in her black paws. "If you cannot, someone else will do it for you. You are required to light flares for people if they ask you to. Only fight each other for supplies or if they begin to fight you. You may begin... NOW!" (im gonna just let you guys figure out the order of obstacles. the challenges include, but are not limited to; venomous snakes, large bodies of water, fire, rusty blades that swing from the cavern walls, acid, and hostile animals. things that would help you include, but are not limited to; herbs, prey, small blades.)

[dang this reminds me of the hunger games ] crochetpaw unsheathed her claws and took off running, though slowed down as she came to soggy ground. this let her known that she was approaching a body of water. sure enough, a few tail-lengths ahead was a wide stream that seemed not too deep yet not at all shallow. luckily, lacey was an excellent swimmer. the silver she-cat leaped into the water and started paddling as hard as she could. though before she made it fully across, she slowed herself down and made more quieter strokes. to make it as a mayflower she would have to be quiet and show such skills that would prove herself as a worthy spy.

(this reminds me of the hunger games too- but somehow i'm getting a little bit of divergent in here too)
Trinity calmly sprinted away. She opened her mouth slightly to scent the air and caught a whiff of an animal they had never had in the city. But she recognized it as badger. The large, angry creature stepped out of some bushes. As it rushed towards her, she leaped high into the air, falling back down onto the animal's back and biting down hard on the back of it's neck. The badger let out a pained noise and she saw anger in it's eyes. It swung it's huge paw at her and she ducked swiftly. She stretched her leg around to the badger's underbelly, sinking her claws deep into it. The air was filled with the smell of blood and her paw was covered with the sticky stuff. She felt the badger stagger and quickly leaped off before she was brought down with it. It was dead. Triumph flared behind her eyes but she didn't have time for that. She raced away to find the next obstacle.
Nuclearpaw circled carefully around the small creature. The snake hissed as it's head bobbed back and forth. Her paws trembled. She had never been much of a fighter. It lunged at her and she screeched, dodging to the side quickly. Another snake slithered up and then another. Her gaze flicked worriedly from one to the other. The first lunged, and she dodged perfectly, but another struck her. She yowled with pain and clawed at the snakes. With one last hiss, they all left. She had a bite on her paw. She could tell that the venom was about to kill her, so she had to think fast. She pressed her mouth to the bite and sucked the venom out, spitting the stuff from her mouth every few seconds. Once she was done, there was still a deep cut. She quickly found a pawful of herbs and applied them to the wound. It itched a little, but it soon began to feel better. She let out a faint sigh of relief.
Sparkflight darted silently through the area, wondering what her first obstacle would be. Suddenly, a large, rusty blade swung in front of her face. She immediately took a step back. 3 blades swung repeatedly ahead of her, and her sides were blocked by cavern walls. At the end she could just see a small blade. A weapon. Perfect. She smiled faintly and waited for the rusty blade to swing again. Right after it had passed, she glided into the next safe gap. Another, shorter blade swung ahead of her this time. She could probably squeeze under it. She pressed her thin body to the ground and slithered under the blade, feeling the force from the large object and trying to push herself lower down. A tiny tuft of her black fur was swept up with the blade. As soon as she got past it, she checked herself quickly before facing the final blade. It was the fastest of them all. She had a 1 second gap before it would strike her. Taking a deep breath, she waited for it to swing and zipped, lightning quick, to the other side. She was alive. She laughed softly. She was alive! But she didn't have time to rejoice. She snatched the blade and was just about to zip back through the blades when she noticed a tiny button that blended in perfectly with the cavern wall. She pressed it hard with her claw and one by one, the blades froze. She smiled. Silently slipping past each blade, she raced off to find her next obstacle, her small blade clenced between her teeth.
