The jet black cat noted how quickly Trinity had killed the badger, and Nuclear paws use of herbs. She also saw Sparkflights use of weaponry and her sharp eye. But her mind remained on Crochet.

(K) Orchidstream had been there the whole time, but spotty had been at camp. Orchidstream had run through a large field of grass. She had killed a mouse, killed a poisonous snake, and found some herbs. She came up to a snarling fox and she jumped on its back, clawing its flank viciously, and delivered a killing bite, feeling a rush of satisfaction. She looked down and saw a scratch on her flank. Fortunately it was shallow and small. Quickly she found a few cobwebs and applied them carefully.

Nuclearpaw noticed a large bush with red berries. Deathberries. She quickly found a large leaf, plucked a few berries, and wrapped the leaf around them. They could be helpful later.
Trinity trotted happily through the area, excited to face her next obstacle. Suddenly, she saw a large pool. But not just any pool. A pool of acid. She grinned. She loved a challenge. She noticed that the earth around the pool curved upward, creating a sort of lip. So she found a large, sturdy stick and lay it across the pool. Gleefully, she padded onto the stick, carefully balancing her weight. She ran across it swiftly and silently until she reached the other end.
Sparkflight saw a large fox in the bushes ahead of her. Luckily, it had it's back to her, and she was downwind, so it didn't know she was there.

Orchidstream ran silently onward in the course. She heard a hiss and ducked, a fireball going over her head. It set the grass ablaze and moved, slowly burning everything in its path. Orchidstream sprinted for her life, eventually taking cover in a river. From her place in the water she watched as the raging fire was blown out by a gust of wind. She sighed in relief and continued on, when the coughing began. Too much smoke she thought to herself as she racked her memory for an herb to help her. Honey would be best, but was rare. Next up would be either coltsfoot or juniper berries... she hauled herself to her feet and quickly discovered an unburned patch of juniper berries. Orchidstream ate a few and within minutes her breaths had steadied.

crochetpaw quickly pulled herself out of the water and shook out her pelt. the silvery white she-cat took off once more to see what her next obstacle would be. right off a tangy scent hit her nose. fox! she stopped and waited, trying to decide whether she should try and avoid it or fight it. avoiding it would show off her skill in being stealthy and would score points closer to mayflower. however if she was to get ravenclaw as her mentor, she may have to show off some fighting skills too. the scent seemed to becoming stronger, she would have to make a decision soon. so the she-cat decided to go ahead and fight it. however that didn't mean she was going to run noisily through the forest. so lacey sneaked around a few trees, watching her step so that she didn't make a sound. the only delay with her ability was the fact that her fur was as bright as the moon. eventually nighty would have to get her a power so she could become an even better spy. perhaps she could discover it soon... as she kept close to the tree line, she tried her best not to be seen. and when the fox came right within sight, it stared right at her, though it didn't seem to see her. surprised, she stood there a moment before she stalked a few inches toward the fox, careful not to make a single sound and to keep her weight perfectly balanced between all fours. then, swiftly, she pounced, and slashed her claws along the fox's flank, lunging forward and locking jaw around its neck. it thrashed it's head from side to side and even began to buck, though lacey clung on tight, digging her claws into it's shoulders. eventually it fell limp and tumbled onto the ground. quickly, the she-cat leaped off of the creature and without even showing any emotion, darted away, off to find the next obstacle.

Sparkflight willed herseld invisible ans she was gone. But the blade was still visible, and it looked as if it were floating. She dropped it to the ground and wrapped her invisible claws around it's handle. She moved forward swiftly ans flung herself at the fox, the knife ainking deep into the back of its neck. It let out a yowl of pain as she dragged herself downward, creating a long, deep wound. After a moment the creature fell limp. She reappeared and raced off.

(I'm gonna say the platinum souls gave her the temporary power to see invisibile cats.)
Ravenclaw watched the cats calmly.

After a brief hesitation, Nuclearpaw grabbed some yarrow. If she accidentally fed the berries to another cat, now she could heal them.

Orchidstream sniffed the air and smelled dogs. Two at least, judging by the scent, and still close by. She found a knife and scaled a tree, waiting. As the dogs neared her she leaped down and killed the first one with the knife. Orchidstream leaped off it's back and fled. She hid in a bush and realized that she had found deathberries. She gathered some in a leaf and sprinted back to the dog, dropping the berries, and hiding again. She watched as the dog ate the poison an keeled over, dead. She grinned in satisfaction and then took out her knife and dipped it in the poisonous juice, so she had a poison blade. She continued on, careful not to let the berry juice drip into her mouth as she carried the dagger.

crochetpaw then neared the next obstacle which was a rusty blade that swung by and lit some of the forest on fire. narrowing her eyes, the she-cat stopped and tried to think of a fast plan. lightbulb! the she-cat noticed that looking at the fire a certain way could show that there were certain gaps in between that you could get through. slowly, lacey went to the first gap, though rushed through to the non-fire spot and quickly toward the next gap as she heard a metallic sound from beside her. whoosh! a rusty blade went by and lit the non-fire spot she was just in on fire. as she heard the squeaking sound again, she used her agility to rush through the next gap and just as she was going through the last one, she made it through by an inch, for her timing wasn't so wise. a small outline of her fur was left on the ground. but there was no time to be looking at remnants of her experience. lacey started running again, light on her paws, practically flying through the forest. she then came to another obstacle which would be the last one before she went through the gate to finish. acid. and not just acid. a hissing sound was coming from somewhere nearby. the she-cat immediately turned invisible and looked around for the pursuer. there it was. a snake. it was looking around for her, though mainly in the spot it had last seen her. so quietly, lacey started toward a tree, careful as to not make a sound. she crept low to the ground until she made it to the tree. and then as soon as she had made it, she rushed up the tree and across a somewhat sturdy branch. unfortunately, the other end was flimsy and breakable. narrowing her eyes, the silver she-cat debated making a tough decision. one that some cats may not make. she backed up a few tail-lengths and then flew across the branch, sprinting into the air and gliding across the other half of the acid. she tumbled onto the ground on the other side. unfocused, she became visible again. her head ached bad from the fall, and she had a hard time seeing things. she shook her head to clear her vision, though that only made her headache worse. lacey slunk over to the side and stalked on the edge of some bushes, keeping low as she headed for her last obstacle which would be the gate of acid. on her way, she spotted a poppy seed leftover on the ground. she turned and started toward it but was knocked aside when an npc cat rammed into her. so crochetpaw decided to do something she did best. play dead. the she-cat fell limp, and supposedly went unconscious. just then, her ears were perked slightly and she listened as the cat left her and went for the poppy seed. feeling as though she were renewed by that sudden peace, lacey leapt to her paws and flung herself into the side of the npc cat, a smirk on her face. she then drew herself closer so that she could whisper in it's ear. " you shouldn't fall for a move like that, it could get you into trouble." just then, she kicked the cat away and plucked up the poppy seed, swallowing it immediately and giving it a moment to digest before dashing away and toward the gate surrounded by acid. [ i got a little carried away ]

Ravenclaw quickly walked over to the gate, where she sent some cats to pick up the fallen hemlock. Crochet was close, all she had to do was walk through the gate.
