Trinity saw a gate circled with acid. She grinned and carefully leaped over the acid. A sudden burst of the stuff sparked up as she was above it and she quickly swerved to avoid it, landing gracefully in front of the gate with a smile upon her maw.

Chrochet had been first, Trinity close behind. These two would make iit far.

even before lacey got to the gate, she had wandered off and was picking up a long thick branch that could at least get her halfway across. she dragged it over to the gate and laid it across the acid. perhaps she could jump too, but this would be her best bet. once after backing up a little bit away, she did the same thing she did in the tree. she flew across the sturdy ground and used the branch as a sort of backboard, or trampoline. it gave her momentum and helped her fly the rest of the way across the pool of acid. she landed on the hard ground beside ravenclaw in a duck and roll. she then slowly got to her paws, the expression on her face completely hard to read.

Ravenclaw waited for the others to finish. After this, there would be promotions.

Orchidstream dashed through the trees, hoping she was close to the finish. A badger stepped out of the bushes, but after all that she had done today, it barely fazed her. She leaped on its back and stabbed it with her poison knife. It fell tp the ground limply and Orchidstream ran on. She stopped running as she approached the gate and the acid pool. She debated the best way to get across. She could jump, of course, but wasn't sure about it. She quickly scaled a tree nearby and found a branch that extended most of the way across. She ran, dropping her knife because she wouldn't need it now. Not if she was this close. Orchidstream took a running leap, landing in front of the gate. She dashed through it quickly before any more obstacles came her way.

She smiled. "Well done. Meet me in the viewing room when you are ready." She padded over to a stand in the room. "All cats! Gather!"

Ravenclaw turned to Orchidstream. "Orchidstream, you reached the gate last but showed high skill in medicine and poison. You also showed promise in fighting. Is it your wish to take the path of a nightshade?"
