Rainbowgleam allowed herself to be dragged under the water, sucking in a deep breath of air before she went. When she resurfaced, she glided through the water gracefully, leaping onto the shore and shaking the water droplets from her pelt. "Wonderful!" she purred.

Rosepaw grinned and gracefully pulled herself out of the water. Hunting was her favorite.

"Instead of fishing, we're going to work on hunting prey on land," she explained. She placed a large pinecone a few tail lengths away from her apprentice. "This is a mouse. Catch it," she ordered.

Rosepaw silently crept up on the pine cone, staying downwind. She then pounced and 'killed it' swiftly with a bite.

Rosepaw tasted the air and found some prey. She saw a bush quivering and she stalked toward it silently, down wind of the prey. She pounced into the bush and emerged with a vole in her jaws.

"Good," she mewed. She parted her jaws slightly and recognized the scent of rabbit. "Over there," she whispered, angling her ears towards a small clearing, "see if toucan catch that."

Rosepaw stalked the rabbit carefully. She pounced on the rabbit and killed it before it knew what had happened. Rosepaw felt a rush of excitement and looked down at the rabbit at her paws... except her paws were gone. She let out a shriek and ran back to Rainbowgleam with her prey. "Rainbowgleam? I think I'm invisible..." she said, standing right in front of her mentor.

"It's ok," Rainbowgleam soothed, "you have invisibility powers. It's not very common, but you're not alone." She turned away shyly.

Rainbowgleam smiled weakly before shaking her head as if to clear it. "This could be helpful for battle training," she mewed, "attack me, but try to use your powers."

Rosepaw appeared again, standing a few tail lengths from her mentor. She charged, but before she hit Rainbowgleam she turned invisible and went around Rainbowgleam. She then leaped, aiming to tackle her mentor, still invisible.
