Rainbowgleam closed her eyes and listened. She could tell that her apprentice was trying to trick her. She stayed perfectly still and allowed herslef to be knocked over. "Good," she mewed.

Rosepaw reappeared on top of Rainbowgleam. She got off to let her mentor up. She smiled at her mentors praise, but then had a question. "Should i keep my power a secret?" Rosepaw inquired.

Rosepaw narrowed her eyes. Rainbowgleam seemed like she was hiding something, but Rosepaw decided not to pry. "Ok, well i don't mind if others know..."

Rainbowgleam nodded. "So, what would you like to work on now?"

"Hunting on land, with invisibility. Or attack techniques." Rosepaw mewed. She wanted to practice her newfound power.

Rainbowgleam nodded. "Alright," she hesistated for a moment as she thought of a good thing to do. Then she thought of something they would be a great challenge. Since her apprentice was so good at everything else, she would give her an extremely difficult task. "Using your powers," she began, angling her ears towards another rabbit, "sneak up on that rabbit. Stay invisible the entire time until you can reach your paw out and kill it. No running." She knew this would be extremely difficult, but she needed some way to challenge Rosepaw. She took a step back to give her apprentice some space.

Rosepaw nodded and willed herself invisible. She went downwind of the rabbit. Rosepaw walked very slowly, not moving a blade of grass. She walked slowly and silently, her ears up. As she neared the rabbit, she quickly lashed out with a paw to the neck, killing it. She reappeared. "How was that?" Rosepaw asked. She was getting the hang of her power now.

"Wonderful," Rainbowgleam purred. She didn't know what else she could teach the young cat. After a brief moment of hesitation, she mewed, "now lets work on fishing. Try to use your power this time."

Finally... fishing. Rosepaw turned invisible and sat right on the edge of the water, leaning over as much as she wanted because she cast no shadow. Spotting a large fish near the surface, she pulled it carefully out of the water as to not scare away the other fish. Rosepaw dropped it and killed it with a bite. She stepped away from the water so she wouldn't disturb the other fish and reappeared, smiling.

"Good," she purred, "you're getting good at using your power. It might take some time to fully master it, but you're doing great so far. If you ever have any questions about it, let me know." She turned towards the trees. "I know RiverClan cats aren't exactly tree climbers," she mewed with a mischeivous smile, "but it is a good skill, and we should work on it. Would you like to try?" She pointed with her tail towards a large tree with low branches.

Rosepaw nodded, and took a leap into the tree. She took a moment to regain her balance and continued climbing, one paw in front of the other. When she gor the hang of it, she turned invisible and continued. Before she knew it, she was near the top, swaying precariously on a thin branch. "How's this?" She called down.

"Good," Rainbowgleam called up, "now come down. Remember to test each branch lightly before you put your weight on it." She could hear the branch starting to crackle softly beneath Rosepaw's feet. She began to panic slightly. "Come on," she called, gracefully pushing the fear out of her voice.
