Sunlight peeked through the ivy in front of the leaders den. The she cat a silver fur sparkled as the flecks of gold were illuminated. The blue eyed cat stepped out onto the balcony of stone, and Lilly sat to watch her clan in the early morning light.

the young spy apprentice peeked her tiny pink nose out of the den, sniffing the fresh morning air. the scent of dew was on the wind, and everything smelled fresh and lovely. the figure slipped further out of the leafy den, exposing her white and gray splotched pelt to the early morning sun. she stretched, freeing her back of all the kinks and cramps that ay have developed overnight. she blinked the sleep out of her stormy blue eyes and trotted over to lilly, a smile laced upon her maw. "hello sis!" she greeted warmly, sitting down beside her.

her eyes lit up as her sister spoke, and her ears pricked up. "hey lilly!" she greeted happily. they needed to become front board because she mousy needed more threads to post in.

Dawnblossom came out and stretched. "Hunting? Count me in!" The pretty she cat mewed, smiling at all the cats.

jay was making his way through the cave of his den. just as he made it outside, the scent of prey and early morning air drifted into his nostrils. the dark gray tabby tom smiled and padded the rest of the way out into the open, avoiding the ivy tendrils and thorns that blocked his way. as he heard his clanmates stirring and preparing themselves for patrols, he slightly frowned. he would like to go hunting too. however, he was practically confined to camp. nothing but herb gathering for him. but hey, it was better then nothing! at least there were some good sights in the camp... yup. he was looking at lilly. and it just occurred to nighty that he was the only tom in the clan!

Lilly looked at him. "Hey Jay. I know you're a healer but... do you want to come with us? You could collect herbs along the way..." she offered, smiling.

the tom smiled and nodded. "sure. sounds like a good plan." he said. awesome! so he'd be able to hunt, herb gather, and get to spend some time with lilly! things were just going good for him today.

Lilly grinned. "Let's go!" she chirped, and walked through the tunnel under the thorns. "Shall we hunt at the river? Or the forest?"

jay followed, looking at the rest of the patrol. he awaited an answer as well. considering they would be doing most of the hunting, he didn't really care. "doesn't matter to me," he said.
